In his speech, Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation, stated that industrial textiles, as an emerging category of the textile industry, have achieved a leap from quantitative accumulation to qualitative development, from breakthroughs in points to comprehensive improvement in system capabilities, and have continuously expanded the boundaries of traditional textiles, becoming one of the important directions for structural adjustment and industrial upgrading of the textile industry. The weak innovation ability of industrial textiles, insufficient high-end applications, and relatively weak key links in the industrial chain are still important factors restricting the high-end development of the industry.

According to the development stage, market structure, and global competition pattern of China's industrial textile industry, Li Lingshen proposes four suggestions for the cultivation and development of high-quality enterprises in the industry: First, it is necessary to take improving the independent innovation ability of enterprises as the core of high-quality enterprise cultivation to promote the upgrading of the industrial foundation. The second is to give full play to the permeability, diffusion, and subversive role of the cultivation of excellent enterprises, and promote the harmonious development of large, medium, and small enterprises. Hua Shan, Director of the China Textile Economic Research Center, shared around the theme of "The Current Situation of the Textile Industry and Advantages of Enterprises" that China's textile industry has obvious leading advantages in production and export scale, and decades of industrial accumulation and industrial structure adjustment have laid the foundation for building a high-quality textile power and establishing a modern textile industry system. At the same time, it shared the situation of advantageous enterprises from the perspectives of industry status, technological innovation, concentration, quality and brand, economic benefits, and internationalization.

Li Guimei, President of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association, shared the topic "Current Situation and Key Tasks of High Quality Development in the Industrial Textiles Industry". She analyzed the current operational status of the industrial textile industry, interpreted the high-quality development of the industrial textile industry, and proposed suggestions for the industry to cultivate high-quality enterprises in a gradient manner. Li Guimei said that in terms of industrial textiles, Nantong's nonwovens, interlining, and safety protection textiles have strong advantages in the country and have industry influential enterprises. He introduced the current situation and trend of nonwoven materials, innovative ideas for nonwoven materials, and mentioned that innovation starts with raw materials, nonwoven composite technology is the main form of innovation, and nonwoven finishing technology is the focus of innovation.

Professor Yao Lirong from the School of Textile and Clothing, Nantong University shared the topic "Technical Innovation and Development Direction of Textiles for Safety Protection". He introduced the major key projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology in the direction of safety protection textiles in recent years, and described the key research and development directions in the fields of biochemical protection, nuclear radiation protection, bulletproof, stab proof, cutting proof, arc proof, molten metal splash proof, medical and health protection, and electromagnetic radiation prevention.
